After six years residency in Budapest and Switzerland, Richard Channin has created a substantial oeuvre of large, vivid paintings, rich in texture and layered, luminous color planes.  Expansive landscape and architectural allusions arise from an austere yet monumental sense of scale and pictorial interval.
